We are beyond excited to be partnering with the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis to host a screening for the documentary "Intelligent Lives" on November 7.
This film by award-winning film maker Dan Habib has a special connection to our organization: It chronicles the lives of three young adults with cognitive disabilities (one of which with Down syndrome) as they excel in school, work and relationships. It’s supposed to be a great film that shows how much people with disabilities can contribute to society.
The movie night will be on November 7 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the AMC Showplace in Edwardsville. Tickets are $12 each.
All of the proceeds will be split between the Maren Fund and the DSA of Greater St. Louis. This is an incredible opportunity to see a movie that means a lot to us while also raising money for the Maren Fund!
We would like to extend a special thanks to parent and community members Kim and Blair Schwalb for organizing this whole event!
Please join us and invite your friends and family. It will be a fun night celebrating inclusion and people with disabilities!
