The Maren Fund provides education programs to parents and children with  Down Syndrome ages 2 and 19+.

Our Programs

The Learning Program

Designed to empower parents to teach their children literacy, math and other skills using evidence-based materials and methods.

Supplements formal literacy and math education through direct instruction to parents and children with customized materials and support.

Parents and children both come to class. While the kids work on skills, parents receive a lecture on a particular topic.

Materials are sent home monthly allowing parents to work with their children throughout the month to build their skills.

Maren Prep

Classes for middle and high school kids with Down syndrome.

Our goal is to continue to support and build academic, communication and social skills for older kids.

Parents do not attend these classes. Information is sent home with the child so parents can continue to implement things discussed in class while at home.

Other Services

We offer a variety of additional programs and services such as  one-on-one tutoring, behavior classes, summer classes and in-services to teachers, therapists and administrators as needed. Please contact us directly if interested.
