WHAT IS THE LEARNING PROGRAM

OF ST LOUIS?

 

WE ARE an educational program offered to parents and children with down syndrome between 2-15+ Years

 

Registration for 2016-17 Learning Program classes is now OPEN!  Sign-up before classes fill.  Registration ENDS AUGUST 14, 2016!!
 

 

 

 

 

The LP of St Louis is a parent/child focused program that empowers parents to teach their children literacy, math and other skills using evidence-based materials and methods.  The program supplements formal literacy and math education through direct instruction to parents and children with customized materials and support.  

 

The St. Louis program is pleased to be a partner program of The Learning Program of Orange County, supported by the Down Syndrome Foundation of Orange County.  As a LP Partner, we are better equipped to share methods and strategies for the cognitive development of children with Down syndrome.

WE OFFER?

 

The Maren Fund, Inc. is pleased to be able to offer and support other programs and services that enhance the lives of children with disabilities.  Year-round we offer various classes and social opportunities to children utilizing LP strategies, we support parents in the school-parent relationship and we provide educational in-services to educators/therapists.  For more detailed information on our additional programs and services, please click the "Other Programs and Services" button found on the right side of this page.
